Offensive
In my story I did experience being called an Esol, but I also added some things that did not happen to that story. The things that I wrote on my story reminded me about the emotions I felt when I was called that word. I felt a feeling of anger and rage, it felt as If I were in that moment again. The part of the writing that affected me the most was when I had to explain what I did. The reason why this part affected me more was that in my story I said that I calmed down and walked away, that's what I wish I had done but instead I let my anger blind me and got into a physical conflict, due to this conflict many people watching must of had thought the worst of me and saw me the same as the guy who called me Esol.
Today in class we typed our work from Tuesday on Illuminate.
One thing that I learned today was that even though you hear a story about offensive encounters and not being there, you can still feel or relate to it. A way I may use this in my life is to not use offensive words to others.
